DESCRIPTION:The WA Division is pleased to announce we have secured Nicholas Williams from Tellus Holdings to present on: \nResponsibilities regarding hazardous and contaminated waste in the new sustainability focused economy \nNicholas Williams is the CFO of Tellus holdings Ltd\, an environmental services business looking to help drive Australia’s transition to the new green economy by enabling start-up\, scale-up and clean-up of hazardous materials. Tellus is working with some of Australia’s largest corporates on how to better manage their environmental liabilities utilising Australia’s first commercial geological repository\, located in the goldfields of Western Australia. \nOn speaking with Nick Williams there will be particular focus on regulations\, responsibility and obligations on attending to mitigation\, clean up and disposal on commercial fire/storm damage in insurance situations where there is contamination from any number of materials. This will extend to effect on neighbours\, the immediate environment and storm water run off.
