SUMMARY:QLD Claims Conference
DESCRIPTION:This year’s QCC will be held at the Pullman Brisbane King George Square on 10 June. \nRegistration includes the half-day conference\, morning tea\, and a networking lunch. \nClick here to view the full program\n \nOur keynote speaker will be Professor Peter Greste\, “Australia’s most unlikely convicted terrorist”. A foreign correspondent with 25 years experience\, he was in Egypt covering the unfolding political crisis when he and two colleagues were arrested and charged with terrorism offences. They were convicted in a sham trial and sentenced to seven years in prison. After an intense international campaign\, he was released after 400 days. Peter will speak about his experience behind bars\, the psychological strategies he used to survive\, and the lessons he still draws on today. \nAICLA CPD: 4 Points\nWith thanks to sponsors:\n  \nPlatinum \n  \n \n  \nSatchel \n \nGold \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \nTo join the waitlist for additional tickets\, please email adminoffice@aicla.org
