Steve Knight’s practice covers all aspects of insurance law and has acted for and advised a wide range of insurers and insureds with respect to claims and policy coverage. He has a particular focus on serious industrial accidents, fire claims, marine claims and casualties, product liability and public liability claims, professional indemnity matters and fraud. Steve has also advised in relation to policy interpretation, professional disciplinary matters and environmental and workplace prosecutions. He is the Tasmanian representative on the National Insurance Lawyers Group of the Law Council of Australia and has previously served as the only Tasmanian to be elected as National President of the Australian Insurance Law Association, of which he is now a life member.
