Following the success of the last online education seminar held in October, the NSW Division is pleased to announce that Wotton + Kearney will again be hosting the next education webinar in February, focusing on recoveries.

Subrogated recoveries are a complex and essential part of an Insurer’s business. Following payment of an indemnified loss, Insurers will explore recovery of those losses from an entity at fault. While this “follows” an indemnity decision, Adjusters can provide additional value to Insurers during the claims handling process if managing the claim with an eye to recovery. Ed Burrell (Partner) and Sam Barker (Special Counsel) specialise in subrogated recoveries at Wotton + Kearney and have tailored a presentation for AICLA members focused on recovery actions, and providing tips that can ensure Insurers are best placed to recover down the line.
