Forensic Services specializes in providing investigative services to loss adjusters, insurance companies, legal firms and other industries. We carry out forensic investigations into the causes of fires, explosions and other accidents, and the nature and extent of damage to goods and machinery.
Our History
The Forensic Services group of companies began in Asia in 1986 to carry out forensic investigations into the causes of fire, explosion and engineering breakdown throughout Asia. Our team has grown exponentially with offices in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. We conduct about 300 consultations each year, almost all in Asia. We have in-house ancillary expertise such as GC/MS analysis of fire site debris, and metallurgical failure analysis.
Our Consultants
Our forensic consultants are professionally qualified in the applied sciences and engineering, and are engaged full time in the work described; with graduates in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, metallurgy, physics, chemistry, forensic science, materials science and marine science. Every investigation is conducted with the view that the findings may need to be presented and justified in a court of law. Our consultants have appeared as expert forensic witnesses in courts in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hongkong, Saipan and the Philippines, most often in respect of fire.
